This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Quality Improvement Group (QIG), Division of Value, Incentives and Quality Reporting (DVIQR), Baltimore (Woodlawn) MD.

You will serve as an advisor to division and senior management in CCSQ on the development, promotion, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Physical Value-Based Payment Modifier program.
Specifically you will:
Serve as division lead responsible for designing, developing, and creating quality reporting education and technical assistance programs related to Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) initiatives for physicians and other practitioners.
Develop or participate in the development of regulations relating to the implementation, revision and/or expansion of CMS's quality data reporting programs or changes to CMS's Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) and/or value-based purchasing programs as required.
Assess the need for change to polices, procedures, regulations and legislation by comparing CMS regulatory or statutory requirements, to those policies and procedures being implemented by QIOs or in the implementation of quality data reporting and VBP programs.
Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues regarding physician quality reporting, clinical quality, public reporting, EHR reporting, incentive programs, technical assistance, outreach and/or performance measurement.
Lead agency and departmental briefings on behalf of the Division Director and Deputy director in discussions with senior CMS and Department official, congressional staffs, and other internal and external organization and audiences.

In order to qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the following:You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal Government to include: (1) developing, implementing, and/or evaluating programs, projects or initiatives related to health care quality improvement in one or more of the following areas; quality reporting, quality measurement, value-based purchasing, electronic health records (EHr); and (2) providing quality improvement technical assistance in physician offices or group practices, hospitals, and/or accountable care organizations related to quality and value-based purchasing programs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
