Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Network Technical Project Management Specialist 4 who will support several projects a large federal agency. These positions will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Duties:
Leading all levels of engineers in organizing, supporting and completing projects.
Provide technical directions in multiple areas of tasks associated with the contract from research through implementation and maintenance.
Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel and must review work of engineers in order to oversee and recognize deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
Serves as the Contractor's technical point-of-contact for program operations and must keep the Program Manager and Project Manager informed of the current status of projects and engineering efforts.
Serves as the liaison between the engineers and the Program Manager
Works directly with SSA managers in charge of the components requesting support services.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of SSA's network, applications, standards, and practices.
Provide support for business development, proposal development, proposal reviews, personnel selections, and technical consultations with various customers within Health Solutions, write white-paper on specific subjects within areas of technical expertise.
Basic Qualifications for a Network Technical Project Management Specialist 4:
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of IT experience, Master's degree and 7 years of IT experience, or 13 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
Must hold a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute
Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent level of certification
Have at least six (6) years experience of hands on network experience
Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Position of Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration
Experience with the SSA networks
Hand on experience working with large enterprise networks (>10K users, >1000 network endpoints)
Previous experience leading and work efficiently with technical employees
Previous project lead experience is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
