Training Director

This requirement is in task order stage of the process and each candidate considered will be fully screened by our recruiter and technical team lead and if so chosen to proceed in consideration, provisioned an Offer Letter of Intent (LOI). This LOI will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to HighPoint given us full approval to submit the aligned candidates resume to our customer for consideration of this task order.
Training Director
HighPoint is seeking to hire a Training Director. This position will work with one our government client in Baltimore, MD. This position will be responsible for the overall creation, delivery, and quality of Training products, including management of Training team staff.
Start up a training function which provides the following services:
Instructional Design (Instructor Led and E-Learning)
Training Delivery
Performance Support / Reference Materials
Establish and communicate the strategic direction for the Training function.
Solicit feedback from the client to determine opportunities to refine the training strategy
Gather feedback from operations to determine opportunities to enhance our support
Develop a tool to clearly and succinctly communicate the Training strategy
Communicate the Training strategy to all stakeholders
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external constituents.
Build strong working relationships with the Client, Operations, and other Vendors supporting the Client
Determine the Training function's role in supporting cross functional initiatives, and provide the support required to make these initiatives successful
Training product / program creation, maintenance, and improvement.
Responsible for the creation of new training products requested by the client or required for optimal performance
Responsible for the maintenance of the library of training products. This includes both ensuring accuracy and meeting Statement of
Work maintenance requirements
Responsible for improving training programs and products so that they produce stronger performance and keep us current with advancements in the training industry
Responsible for the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all requested products to the client, including the review and approval of work performed by the Training team which they manage
Responsible for the Project Management of all training product related activities
Meeting Statement of Work Requirements
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all Statement of Work requirements.
Responsible for the project management of all training activities required to meet Statement of Work requirements.
Communication with Key Stakeholders
Provide complete, accurate and timely reports to internal and external clients
Facilitate internal and external meetings, including initiating cross-functional collaboration between internal teams and external partners and clients
Management of the Training team
Manage the Training team's work capacities and allocate or reallocate resources as needed
Directly manage members of the Training Team staff; conduct performance evaluations for direct reports; and, support the professional development of team members, including on-going training
Recruit and on-board Training Team associates
EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
At least ten years of experience in the Training or Instructional Design field
At least five years of experience managing exempt employees
Experience with call center operations
Ability to effectively manage multiple project timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Individual's primary workstation is located in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
