Business Analyst

Responsibilities:  Develop business, functional and non-functional requirements specifications according to standard templates. Elicit requirements based on document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Hands-on business/system process and requirements analysis including documenting as-is and designing to-be business/system processes. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Serve as a liaison between business owners, technology teams and support teams. Perform onsite data collection to analyze standard operating procedures and process models. Participate in ongoing decisions regarding design, data collection, data analysis, methodology, and process improvement. Validate requirements post implementation. Collaborate with Federal stakeholders and the MACPro project team to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with minimal direction. Build subject matter expertise in Medicaid and CHIP policies and provide input to working groups.   Required Experience:  5+years of business analysis experience with a focus on healthcare. Agile methodology experience and business analysis experience. Working knowledge of the SDLC. Prior experience writing business and system level requirements on data centric analytics type projects and applications. Excellent attention to detail and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills. Ability to work well independently or in a team setting. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational degree in Computer Science field required   Preferred Experience:  Thorough understanding of Medicaid and healthcare standards like HL7, HIPAA and other standards Proven ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions. Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines and ambiguity on some projects. 605

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
