Functional Tester

Responsibilities: Reviews functional requirements documentation (e.g., acceptance criteria in user stories in JIRA) to understands functional requirements. Works with the Project Manager, Software Architect, Business Analyst and Application Developers to plan test execution. Provides estimates for test execution as inputs to project planning. Develops and documents detailed test cases/test scripts based on the documented requirements, using sound software test engineering principles. Participates in internal and/or peer reviews to verify the accuracy and completion of test cases and makes revisions based on review feedback. Executes test cases/test scripts for automated test implementation, including reviewing acceptance criteria, creating integration/regression test scenarios, implementing data management strategy, and generating requiredreports, and documents results. Works with Application Developers to verify defects fixes Help develop User Manuals and training guides    Required Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of software testing functional testing Experience with interpreting requirements, writing quality control, and writing user acceptance test plans Testing experience with Zephyr and FitNesse Experience with automated test tools to test Web-based applications Experience with creating automated test scripts and developing test plans, and procedures Experience with Agile development methodologies Ability to write and maintain technical documents Experience with testing Web applications Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred   Preferred Experience: Testing Appian software applications Testing experience with JMeter Section 508 testing experience 578

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
