Social Science Research Analyst
ALL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In order to qualify for the GS-09, you must meet one of the following:
A. I have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service to include:
(1) Assisting senior analysts with statistical data collection or data analysis of health or human service programs; and (2) Participating in preparing reports of findings related to data analysis; and (3) Providing technical input to improve operational efficiency. B. I have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2 ) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION) C. I have a combination of specialized experience described in A above and graduate education described in B above. To combine education and experience, determine the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then determine the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. Finally, add two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade:
To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
